A Farm Designed by Young Hearts & Minds And Engineered for Sustainability
The family is transforming the place to where kids young and old can get to enjoy wide open spaces, immerse in a farm setting, and enjoy resort-like facilities.
Many of the current structures were born from children’s ideas, e.g. treehouse, multi-purpose hall, Spanish fountain, koi pond, natural eco-pool, and football field. It prides in utilizing up-cycled materials whenever it can from utility poles, wrought iron bars, antique chandeliers, doors from old houses, pumice stones, among others. It also aims to be a model of environmental sustainability with the installation of numerous rainwater catchment systems with a current capacity of about 190,000 liters.
The agricultural and garden plots grow everything from herbs, vegetables, ornamental and flowering plants, including fruit bearing trees. An apiary is maintained to ensure that all these are pollinated naturally, honey is occasionally harvested. Farm produce is also processed and made into various farm products, i.e. spicy vinegar, chili oil and garlic in olive oil, fruit chips, fruit purees, herbal teas, and so much more.
